Ready to get your drugstore hunt on? The Wet n Wild Summer Festival Bright Eye Trio Eyeshadow Collection has arrived and it’s limited edition folks!
This collection includes 6 new Color Icon Eye Shadow Trios, four new Wild Shine Nail Colors and two new Mega Slicks Balm Stains. Today I shall go over the eye shadows since I have a sneaking suspicion they will be what people want to see first.
These all claim they have a matte finish, but there are definitely quite a few with more of a satin-like finish. Not shimmery per se, but they have a sheen.
Lost My Wristband has a muted pinky/beige matte, a bright yellow matte and a bright lime green satin.
These are lighter shades so I didn’t get huge color payoff, but a good amount. I love the yellow and green together.
Who’s Carpooling? has a bright white matte, an intense sea-green satin and a vivid blue matte.
This palette was really pigmented and I got excellent payoff. The shades are soft and intense.
Something to Rave About has a pale yellow satin, a bright sky blue matte and a bright pink satin.
These felt soft and I got really nice pigmentation from them. Loving that the blue isn’t chalky at all.
No Scalpers Allowed has a pale pink/nude, a medium purple matte and a deep cornflower blue satin.
Loving this combo of colors together! All of these have good payoff, and that last shade is just gorgeous.
Sun-set to See has a light warm vanilla matte, a medium warm brown satin and a bright warm orange satin.
Another great combination of shades, I think. Everything was soft and pigmented. I like all these warm-toned shades since most of the others are cool-toned.
Standing My Camp-ground! has a light orange/brown matte, a deep satin chocolate and a satin medium pink.
For me the first color wasn’t that great of a shade, and also it was a little patchy and chalky looking. But the brown is gorgeous and the pink was nicely pigmented and even.
These are available starting August 1st at drugstores.
Which ones are you going to be on the hunt for?
