Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm comes in five shades as well as a transparent option. These balms are infused with shea butter and vitamin E to make them smooth and hydrating, yet light on the lips.
The colors they come in are Coral Crush (coral/papaya), Honey Nectar (nude), Ripe Raspberry (raspberry pink), Natural Rose (soft mauve/rose) and Pixi Pink (bright pink). They leave a definite color behind on the lips, but it’s a light wash. They are much more colorful than the Benefit tinted balms, which are basically nearly invisible on me. These leave a definite color behind, and they feel very comfortable on my lips. There really is no scent or taste to them either.
As you can see these definitely leave behind a wash of color. Honey Nectar isn’t really my kind of shade, but Pixi Pink is! It’s a cheerful cool-toned light pink and I like that it’s the kind of thing that definitely makes my lips look pinker, but I don’t have to apply it with a mirror because it doesn’t need to be that precise.
I’ve been wearing them this week and like them thus far. They feel hydrating for a couple of hours before I feel like I need to reapply. That’s pretty standard for me with most all lip products.
You can find these at Target and Pixi.
