Pixi Mesmerizing Mineral Palette Emerald Gold isn’t a new palette per se, but it’s one worth checking out if you haven’t yet.
Actually there are two new palettes in this eye shadow line for fall 2014 and they are Rich Gold (gold, khaki and green shades) and Silver Sky (cream, silver and blue shades). Each of these palettes include six color-coordinated mineral eye shadows and a dual-ended sponge applicator.
The colors in this palette are on the lighter, less pigmented side. Expect more of a wash of color rather than serious color payoff.
The first shade is a pale shimmery yellow.
The second shade is a pale shimmery green.
The third shade is a shimmery medium bronze.
The fourth shade is a light champagne/brown shimmer.
The fifth shade is a medium shimmery green.
The sixth shade is a deep shimmery/metallic copper.
These all feel really soft, almost like a cream shadow but they are powders. I actually kind of like the fact that they aren’t incredibly deep and pigmented because they are more goof-proof this way. You can go over them many times and almost can’t get them too dark, especially the first four shades. They blend together really nicely and everything can be mixed and matched really well.
Have you tried any of these Pixi Palettes? What do you think about the lighter pigmentation in this one?
