The OPI Pink of Hearts 2014 duo-pack was made to raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer. In 2014, OPI will donate $25,000 to Susan G. Komen® in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is October. OPI will also be donating $5,000 to Rethink Breast Cancer in Canada.
“OPI is proud to support Susan G. Komen and Rethink Breast Cancer with the eighth annual Pink of Hearts promotion,” explains Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Co-Founder & Executive VP. “OPI’s breast cancer awareness campaign embodies our mission to empower women through color. The Power of Pink is a unique new shade that really celebrates the individual. This pink glitter gives nails a fun, playful look that represents the joyful feeling that comes when embracing life.”
This duo-pack comes with two nail shades as well as a small, pink glittery nail file with a pink ribbon charm attached.
Mod About You is a light pink creme. This isn’t a new shade, it’s been around for awhile. I read that it’s a slightly different shade now, but I haven’t verified that for myself yet. I managed to get it covered pretty nicely and evenly with just two coats.
The Power of Pink has a milky pink base and features pink and white hex glitter in a couple sizes. You can wear this one by itself because it does have the milky base, which covers nicely in two coats.
Or you can wear The Power of Pink over Mod About You if you wish. 🙂
