Always on the hunt for great hand lotions with SPF, I bought the Clinique Even Better Dark Spot Hand Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 15 at my local CCO not too long ago.
This lotion is supposed to help with dark spots, age spots, discolorations and help create a more even skin tone. I can’t speak to any of that because I don’t have dark or age spots on my hands, and that’s not really why I bought it. It contains UVA/UVB protection as well as botanicals to help prevent future darkening.
The lotion comes out white but blends in completely clear, there is no white cast to it at all. When I first apply it, it makes my hands shiny and feels a wee bit sticky and greasy, but after 5 minutes that all goes away and it feels like a light regular lotion.
Overall I like it as much as the L’Occitane one and more than the one from Deborah Lippmann. I do wish it had an SPF of 30 rather than 15, but beggars can’t be choosers, and I kind of feel like we are beggars when it comes to finding a hand cream with SPF in it at all!
