TGIF! MAC Moody Blooms is a new collection for summer 2014 and I’ve got some pieces to show you today.
The inspiration behind this collection is clearly flowers, but it’s the deeper, darker and more intense shades that you will see, rather than light pastel-like shades. Think intense violets, blackened plums, ivy green and electric pinks.
Artistic License is a pink/gold with a veluxe pearl finish. Gorgeous shade, I love the duochrome effect it seems to have.
Copperthorn is a bronze/gold with lots of glitter. This is really pigmented and intense.
Hidden Motive is a deep aubergine with a veluxe pearl finish. Another stunning shade which is nicely pigmented and looks amazing on those with blue eyes.
Nightshade is a dark blackened plum. This wasn’t nearly as intense or pigmented as Copperthorn, but a nice shade which is somewhat buildable.
Bred For Beauty is an intense blue-toned pink. SO pigmented and bright!
Pheromonal is a bright pink/coral shade. Very pretty, definitely a pink I would wear a lot.
Venomous Violet (online exclusive) is a very dark berry. Not my shade, but striking nonetheless.
Blushing Berry is a medium cool-toned red. This isn’t super intense but I do like that it doesn’t take many twists of the pen to get it flowing out of the tip.
Glorious Intent is a warm-toned plum. A nice plum shade with a medium coverage.
There are also some gorgeous looking greens in this collection which I haven’t seen in person, but you might want to check out! Everything is online and in stores now.
Will you be picking up anything from Moody Blooms?
