Ready to hit the beach with some great new SPF products?
With the FIFA World Cup going on now and the Summer Olympics in 2016, I’ve been hearing a lot about Brazil lately. The new L’Occitane Au Brésil Jenipapo collection celebrates Brazil and it’s great for a beach vacation there or heck, even in your own backyard in suburbia, U.S.A. if you can’t get there. I wish I could!
There are a bunch of new items in the Jenipapo collection and I have three for you now. But first, what the heck is Jenipapo? It’s a fruit tree from Cerrado which is a tropical savanna eco-region in Brazil. It produces succulent orange-sized fruits, which smell divine!
Protecting Body Jelly Milk SPF 20 is a lightweight broad spectrum sunscreen which pumps out white but goes on clear. It melts into skin very easily and quickly.
It’s has a milky, gel-like texture which is completely not sticky at all and not greasy whatsoever. It really does feel just like a nice moisturizer rather than a typical sunscreen. I am super impressed with the texture and totally in love with the scent. I just wish it came in a gigantic bottle and was much less expensive because I would be slathering this stuff all over all summer long!
Face Protection Veil SPF 30 is a matte-finish broad-spectrum lotion that is very lightweight. It too looks white but immediately blends into the face clear and leaves no whiteish cast at all.
This stuff ROCKS! I love the light finish, I love that it’s completely not oily or sticky feeling and I really like the matte finish. It works with other makeup on top of it with no issues. All I wish for is much more product for less money. So good.
Lip Gloss with SPF 25 is enriched with vegetal oils, which makes it very moisturizing. It goes on like like a Jack Black Lip Balm (it’s clear) and it leaves a nice coating on the lips which is also quite glossy. It’s not sticky at all and it has a light scent to it. I’m always looking for lip products with SPF that are nicely moisturizing and this definitely fits the bill.
I really love this line and the scent is seriously addictive. I just wish everything was less expensive for the amount you got! But that’s L’Occitane for ya. 😉
Will you be trying anything out from the Jenipapo line?
