MAC Studio Sculpt Shade and Line is available now through May 29th.
This collection is comprised of eight different palettes, each featuring two eye shadows and one matte liner. Each one is a different formula as well: Matte, sparkle and metallic. The colors include Ebonyblend, Violetblend, Eggplantblend, Roseblend, Apricotblend, Oliverblend, Espressoblend and Indigoblend.
I found these to have fairly light pigmentation for the most part. They are somewhat buildable, but I definitely wanted more from them.
Apricotblend has a champagne shade, a medium brown shade and a warm coral shade. I had to go over these a few times to get this level of pigmentation.
Roseblend has a light pink shade, a medium plum shade and a metallic gold shade. I really like all these shades but they are very light!
Ebonyblend has a frosty white shade, a black shade and a blue/grey shade. The white and the grey shades were nice and fairly pigmented but the black one I had to go over quite a few times.
Overall: I feel a bit let down by these to be honest. I think the design looks cool, the idea is good and the colors all work together, but the pigmentation was so light that they just didn’t impress me all that much.
Did you pick any of these up?
