Luxury. That’s the first word that comes to mind when I see/smell/use L’Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate and Supple Skin Oil. Luxury.
If you haven’t yet caught a whiff of this divine amande or almond line, you simply must! I can’t even describe the scent. It’s like a creamy, milky almond scent with a hint of chamomile or something. SO hard to describe but it’s light and really nice.
Here is some info about the almond line for those who are interested. The almond trees start blooming in early spring and are covered with little white flowers. L’Occitane waits until October for the blossoms to transform into fruit. The almond nut grows inside a green velvety shell and it’s known for softening and smoothing out skin. They get all their almonds from the South of France.
The Supple Skin Oil comes in a 3.4 oz glass spray bottle. This is the kind of bottle you want sitting on your bathroom sink because it’s so pretty.
It contains more than 50% almond oil and absorbs into the skin rather quickly. It’s a light spray, so after you rub it in for a few seconds, you don’t look all shiny and don’t feel greasy. It moisturizes the skin nicely and the scent lasts a really long time. I’ve never really used oil to moisturize skin because I was always convinced it would be super heavy and gross feeling. But this stuff definitely is not like that, it’s very nice.
Milk Concentrate comes in a 7 oz glass jar and it too is pretty enough for the bathroom sink!
This milk concentrate is enriched with almond extracts and it feels light and melts into the skin very easily. It looks like a very rich creme upon first glance but it’s actually not that heavy at all. A little bit goes a long way and it gives my skin wonderful hydration all day and a nice scent to go along with it.
Pricing: Supple Skin Oil ($42), Milk Concentrate ($49).
