It’s Friday are you ready for the weekend? Any fabulous plans? Not much going on for me other than a hair appointment Saturday and maybe some yard work.
Hard Candy So Baked Contour Trio and Cheeks & Balances are two new products out this summer at Walmart. So Baked Contour Trios have 3 different baked shades in one compact. They illuminate, contour and highlight the face. They come in four color choices including 3 strikes, 3rd wheel, 3 x a charm and 3 x a lady.
Cheeks & Balances is a highlight and contour cheek duo. This twist-up stick delivers a highlight shade and contour color in one swipe. It comes in three shades including Cheeky Pink, Sun Kissed and Sweet Cheeks.

Hard Candy So Baked Contour Trio ($9)

3 x a lady

3 x a lady
3 x a lady features a shimmery/metallic champagne luminizer, a light shimmery peach blush and a light tan bronzer a with slight sheen. I feel this is a good set of shades for someone on the more fair side like myself. Nothing here is too dark or muddy looking for my skin.

3 strikes

3 strikes
3 strikes features a pale shimmery pink luminizer, a bright pink blush with slight sheen and a medium/deep bronzer matte. In this palette I really love the first two shades but for my skintone, this bronzer is too dark. Everything was very nicely pigmented here.

Hard Candy Highlight & Contour Sun Kissed ($7)

Sun Kissed
Sun Kissed has a light warm gold highlight shade and a medium shimmery bronzer. Initially I didn’t think this was going to be something I liked but after actually wearing it one day I kind of liked it. It only took two swipes to get it to show up and then I blended it in with my fingers. This particular shade is on the lighter side so it gave me just a hint of color and shimmer. I could probably build it up a bit though if I wanted more color. I like that it’s shimmery but not overly so. It doesn’t last all day though, it seemed to fade after 4 or 5 hours. I am interested in checking out Cheeky Pink and Sweet Cheeks though because they are pinks and peaches, which are shades I normally wear.
Have you tried any of these items yet?
