Benefit Hydrating Tinted Lip Balm is the latest lip item from the San Francisco brand and I’m pleased to share some swatches for you today.
This new product comes in four shades currently, which match their lip/cheek tints. They are infused with mango butter and sodium hyaluronate to give your pucker some nice moisture. As the name implies, these are tinted lip balms, meaning VERY slightly tinted. Don’t expect a big blast of color because you won’t be finding that here. You can wear them over the lip/cheek tint though for more of a color impact.
These lip tints are currently at Sephora and Macy’s and launching on Benefit Cosmetics soon. They are $18.00 for 0.10 oz.

As you can see, there is just barely a hint of color and some shine. In fact the only ones that really show up on my lips as an actual color are Lollibalm and Benebalm. The other two are incredibly subtle and mostly look clear on me.
Having said that, I still like them! I knew going in that they weren’t very pigmented, so that helped. I’ve been wearing Benebalm for a few hours and it’s really comfy on the lips. It’s moisturizing like a lip balm is, but still shiny. I love these kind of balms for the summer when I don’t want to deal with a very precise bold lip, but still want some shine, a hint of color and hydration.
They have a very light flowery scent but no taste. The mirror-like tubes are fabulous looking (but finger-printy) and lightweight.
Will you be trying any of these out or do you prefer for pigmentation?
