Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Today we celebrate the patron saint of Ireland named Saint Patrick. I’m not religious in any way, shape or form however I have always loved this holiday because I love all things Irish and green! I’m not sure I have any Irish in my blood. I know I have Hungarian, Scottish, English and possibly Czechoslovakian in me though, so that’s close enough, haha. 😉
When I was a kid my mom always made corned beef, cabbage and homemade Irish soda bread. Yum! I occasionally still make that for dinner but this year I am choosing to celebrate mostly with a dot mani using the colors of the Irish flag with a special “pot of gold” accent nail.

St. Patrick’s Day Dot Manicure 2014
I used OPI Sandy Hook Green, OPI Hot & Spicy, OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and Nicole by OPI Carrie’d Away for this mani. I also used various sized dotting tools for the dots.
I’m also testing out a new top coat someone recommended to me (sorry I forgot who, I am SO BAD with names) called HK Girl Fast Drying & Super Shiny Clear Top Coat.
SHARE YOUR MANI WITH ME!
If you are wearing a St. Patrick’s Day inspired mani today please shoot an email of the photo to me at kelly@vampyvarnish.com by 4:00pm, PST and I’ll post it on my blog! The photo needs to be clear and at least 600 x 600. I will link back to you if you let me know what handle/blog to use.
Hope to see some of your manis!
