Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure is just one of six new Ambient Lighting Blushes that are out this spring.
So much hype these blushes have received! They have combined the lighting effects of the Ambient Lighting Powder and mixed them with pretty blush shades to create a blush that gives you a soft-focus and radiant look. Each blush has a slightly different marbled finish, some with more blush, some with more of the photo-luminescent lighting effect.
The blush shades are as follows:
- Ethereal Glow – cool pink
- Diffused Heat – vibrant poppy
- Dim Infusion – warm coral
- Luminous Flush – champagne rose
- Radiant Magenta – golden fuchsia
- Mood Exposure – soft plum
Mood Exposure is a dusty rose/plum shade. I had a nice amount of the photo-luminescent powder running throughout mine. It feels like a very soft, lightweight powder and I was able to pick up a nice amount of pigmentation as well. The color for me isn’t one I would ever use because I feel like it looks a little muddy with my skin tone.
Overall: I only have seen one of these in person so far and it’s not a shade I would use on myself, but having said that, the blush felt very soft and nice, and it’s nicely pigmented. I don’t quite get the intense hype around it though. It’s a nice blush but I didn’t notice anything particularly ground-breaking about the finish overall.
Have you tried these or do you want to?
