Looking for some shimmer in your eyeshadow primer? Then perhaps the new Wet n Wild Fergie Shimmer Take On The Day Eyeshadow Primer would work for you.
This primer works like a typical primer in that it keeps eyeshadow from creasing and disappearing throughout the day, but it also can be used alone as an eyeshadow (or a brow-bone highlighter) because it’s got a nice pinkish champagne shimmer.
As you can see, she’s quite shimmery!
I am not one to like a shimmery primer personally, but I tested this one out for the day recently. It dries quickly on the eyelid and definitely leaves behind quite a bit of shimmer. I put another eyeshadow over it (a thin layer) and the shimmer does come through. It lasted on me for around 7 or 8 hours before I started seeing creases happening. After 8 hours it just continued to crease more and more.
Overall: If you like shimmer on your lids you might like this. It definitely doesn’t last as long on me as the Milani, Too Faced or Urban Decay primers though, so I wasn’t all that impressed.
Availability: Out this month at drugstores.
Do you like shimmery primers or prefer invisible ones?
