MAC Prep + Prime Colour Correct is a new line of colour correcting creams and powders that are supposed to help perfect your skin tone.
Colour Correct is now part of the MAC permanent line, so yay for that! You have some time to check these out before panicking they might already be gone.
So what are these exactly? Colour Correcting SPF 30 Broad Spectrum is a cream which evens out skin tone and helps moisturize. Colour Correcting Powders, which come in both a compact and loose formula, are a transparent super soft powder that helps blur away the appearance of lines and imperfections.
The colors for all three items include:
Adjust – (Peachy beige). This one works nicely for a light, brightening coverage for certain skin tones. I could actually use it as a regular powder because it’s so pale.
Neutralize – (Yellow). This one is really great for those who might have some redness in their skin. I used it on my cheeks which are usually more red than the rest of my face, and it did a nice job of neutralizing it.
Illuminate – (Lavender). This one works by helping make your skin brighter and getting rid of any dullness.
Recharge – (Apricot). This one is a kind of medium/deep orange that adds warmth to the skin.
Pricing: Cream ($30), Powders ($24).
Will you be giving any of these a go?
