bareMinerals Lasting Line Long-Wearing Eyeliner launched last month and I’ve got the deets for ya.
These twist-up pencils are self-sharpening and have a smudger tip on the opposite end. They are infused with vitamin C and have a soft and smooth formula that blends easily but then sets. They come in eight shades and various finishes.
Infinite Sage is a medium glittery sage green.
Endless Orchid is a light eggplant metallic.
Forever Brandy is a deep plum/brown matte.
Eternal Bronze is a glittery medium bronze.
Nonstop Navy is a medium glittery navy blue.
Lasting Brown is a deep chocolate brown matte.
Always Charcoal is a greyish/taupe matte.
Absolute Black is a jet black matte.
Overall: So while I found these easy to use in terms of the formula, which was creamy and smooth, I didn’t find them as opaque as I would want. The glittery shades in particular were a little on the weak side in terms of color payoff, and also you can’t wear them on the waterline because of the glitter. The darker the shade, the better the payoff. I think Forever Brandy, Lasting Brown and Absolute Black are the best bang for your buck. In terms of how long they last? Well they last all day on me over a primer on my upper lid. I have yet to test them out on the waterline. I’m not blown away by these in general though, I find that MAC, Too Faced and Urban Decay liners have much better payoff.
Pricing: $16.00 for 0.02 oz.
Whaddya say about these liners?
