Milani Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss for 2014 is a brand new product and I am over the moon excited about it!
Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss comes in fourteen shades right now from a creamy finish to a shimmery one. These are non-sticky glosses that feel extremely moisturizing and comfortable on the lips. There is no scent or taste that I detected (yay!) and they have a flexible sponge applicator. I kind of really like the container they come in. They feel really sturdy and substantial somehow, and I like that they aren’t round. The high-shine gold cap does get extremely fingerprint-y immediately though.
High shine and fun shades ahead!
Bare Secret is a soft pinkish nude creme.
Mai-Tai is a vivid coral with orange shimmer.
Luminous is a soft shimmery pink/gold.
Mauve Fetish is a light mauve with gold shimmer
Berry Tempting is a medium purple creme.
Ravish Raspberry is a medium raspberry pink creme.
Pink Lady is a cool-toned pale pink creme.
Rose Blush is a medium shimmery pink.
Sweet Grapefruit is a pale pink/orange creme.
Coral Crush is a pale coral creme.
Nude Touch is a shimmery pale gold.
Red My Lips is a bright classic red creme.
Brown-Berry is a deep purple/brown shimmer.
Black Cherry is a deep red creme.
Overall: I am totally crushing on these! I swatched all 14 at once and my lips felt totally fine. They are very moisturizing and slick on the lips with no stickiness whatsoever. I love that there isn’t a scent or taste, and they’re shiny and nicely pigmented. The three darkest shades, Red My Lips, Brown-Berry and Black Cherry, are a little on the blotchy side. Some of the lighter creme shades tend to look a bit similar. My personal favorites are Mai-Tai, Mauve Fetish, Luminous, Rose Blush and Nude Touch.
