Wet n Wild Color Icon 8-Pan Eyeshadow Palette in Poster Child is new for 2014 and will be releasing soon!
Actually, if you are lucky, you might already find it since some places (I heard) have released it early. Others will have to wait until the official January release date.
This palette features eight new shades, all coordinated and stamped with where to put them on your eye. These are cooler shades and the palette includes both mattes and shimmers (but not glittery shimmers).
The Browbone shade is a pale matte pink.
The Eyelid shade is a shimmery candy colored pink.
The Crease shade is a peachy/pink shimmer.
The Definer shade is a not overly deep black with slight shimmery sheen. I wasn’t too impressed with the payoff with this shade.
The Browbone shade is a light shimmery yellow.
The Eyelid shade is an intense aqua shimmer.
The Crease shade is a vivid blue shimmer.
The Definer shade is a deep blue matte. This was a bit patchy but not too bad overall.
Overall: I like it but don’t love all the shades. The ones on the left don’t appeal to me personally, but I do really like the right side, especially the middle two blue shades. Both of the “Definer” shades gave me a bit of grief in terms of payoff but the blue one was more pigmented than the black. But at $4.99 it’s a great deal if you love a couple of the shades!
Availability: Releasing January 2014 nationwide.
