Hold onto your hats ladies and gents because coming January to a drugstore near you are five new Wet n Wild Color Icon 5 Pan Eyeshadow Palettes for 2014!
Each one of these palettes features five color-coordinated shades enriched with macadamia oil to help with moisture. Like their other eyeshadow palettes, these (well, all but one) are marked with a suggestion of where to place the color. But of course feel free to do whatever looks good, there are no rules!
I’m really digging the layout of these, I think it looks pretty cool visually. Also I like that they’re still very small and lightweight but you have five rather than three shades. They are still really easy to take along if traveling, but I always pack my WnW’s extra carefully because they tend to crumble rather easily.

Overall: Ok let’s go palette by palette.
With the I’m His Breezey palette I felt like the shades were just ok in terms of depth and pigmentation. Nothing mind-blowing. Tunnel Vision was really good. All the shades were soft, even and pigmented. The Naked Truth was a little lacking for me, which was disappointing. I thought it would be my favorite one and very pigmented but the browbone, eyelid and crease shades were really light. Floral Values was pretty good overall except the crease shade, which was a bit patchy and not as deep as I had hoped. Art in the Streets is awesome. I love all five of these matte shades and with the exception of the definer, they all applied evenly. So cute!
Availability: Drugstores in January 2014 (you might find them early, some places already released them).
Pricing: $3.99.
What do you think about these five palettes? Which one(s) will you be hunting down in 2014?
