Hello there and welcome to day 13 of the 22 Days of Red Lipstick series.
Today I’ve got another older shade called MAC Cockney which is from their permanent line. Cockney is a lustre shade with multidimensional pearl. The lustre formula is on the sheer side, so this might be a good starter red for some of you.
Cockney has a yellow tone to it rather than blue, which makes it a bit different from most reds I have shown thus far. It’s more on the warmer side. As you can see it’s got that sheerness to it, which I think is pretty nice. It almost looks like a melted Popsicle. You can build it up a little (like I did here) or wear it as more of a sheer wash. The one thing I noticed for myself with some of the more pigmented lustre shades from MAC is they bleed a little after awhile. I think other people have this issue also. Odd.
So Cockney, love it or list it? 😉
