If you love dusty, creamy nail shades then the Londontown Fall/Winter 2013 Lakur collection might have you swooning.
I’ve reviewed a couple of Londontown’s Lakur shades recently and liked what I had seen. Now I like them even more! The fall/winter collection contains eight shades and I have four of them for you today.
As previously mentioned, their shades are 5-free, vegan, gluten-free and cruelty-free. All of these are cremes and they all just needed two coats. They apply like smooth, silky melted butter and I had zero issues with them.
Chimes of the City is a warm tan/sand. It’s got a lot of yellow in it and it’s one of those oddball shades that I am really drawn to. Hard to describe it!
Foglifter is a medium grey/putty-like shade. I see a lot of green in this, so really it looks like a greenish/putty. Another strange shade and I really love it.
Water in my Wellies is a dusty teal. I am really liking all these muted tones here. This one leans towards the blue rather than green side of teal.
To the Queen, with Love is a muted royal purple. Super rich and nearly opaque with one coat, but I still used two.
Overall: I am I fan of all of these. I especially like Chimes of the City and Foglifter because they are sort of strange colors. Their formula is really great, just two coats covers completely, and they aren’t too thin or streaky whatsoever. If I had to pick something to complain about it would be they are on the more expensive side for the amount, and the names on the bottom of the bottle are REALLY small and hard to read. But the quality is definitely there with this brand.
Pricing: $22.00 for .4 oz.
See anything you like? Do you love dusty cremes like I do?
