The new limited edition Milani Eye Tech Liquid Eye Liner comes in both an Angle and Mini version and will be available exclusively at select Walgreens and Fred Meyer stores this month.
Both of these are jet black waterproof liners that come in a felt tip pen style but they feature different tips for different looks.
As you can see these are both very black. Ignore the bleeding, liquid liners always bleed when I swatch them because I use MAC wipes in-between swatches and it causes that. They do not bleed at all on the eye!
The Angle tip can be used two ways. You can use either the pointed end for a thinner line, or the thicker side for a wider and more angled line.
The Mini tip is a fine slightly bendy tip which can be used to place dots in-between lashes, or to make a super thin or slightly thicker line.
I tried both and I prefer the Mini liner a little more. I liked it over the Angle one because I felt it was easier to control. Plus you can start off thin and build up if you want a thicker line. The Angle one is harder for me to use because I’m not used to that style, but it also features the slightly bendy tip, so it’s not totally rigid, which can be annoying. The one positive thing about the Angle on is that is does create a little cat eye really easily. But we all know MY issue with the cat eye, so I don’t really wear them much.
Overall: Great little liners for the price especially. I love that they are easy to use and you don’t have to press hard or shake them forever to get an even jet black line out of them. I like the tips like this that have some give, they are easier to use generally.
