MAC Retro Matte, a new colorful lip collection, was inspired by how amazingly popular Ruby Woo became after they released it in this same formula.
These lipstick shades might not be all new, but they do have the retro matte finish now, which kind of makes them new! They have also released eight colorful Pro Longwear Lip Pencil shades to go with the lipsticks perfectly.

Overall: Well I am a bright lipstick lover, so I love these shades. The finish for me can be good to not so good depending on the state of my lips. If I am feeling like my lips are really conditioned they feel pretty comfortable and smooth on. However if my lips are chapped, they definitely feel more dry and tighter on. Normally though when I wear any kind of matte lipstick I wear a light layer of lip balm underneath to help out, because I am always on the more chapped side. The liners are super pretty and creamy. I think my personal favorite shades here are All Fired Up, Flat Out Fabulous, Relentlessly Red and Runway Hit. And of course I love the Retro Matte Ruby Woo as well!
