The Anastasia Catwalk Eye Shadow Palette is new this season and it features ten eye shadows shades inside.
This collection was thought of because of, you guessed it, the catwalk that models walk down in fashion shows. You can create all sorts of model-esque looks with these shadows as well as some more natural neutral looks.
The palette is gold, black and pink and includes velvet-like spots on the front cover. Inside you will find the eye shadows, a mirror and a dual-ended eye shadow brush. Also included in the kit is a breakdown and how-to of some fierce looks.
There are some fancy ingredients in these shadows also, in case you like that kinda thing. They include a Youthful Synergy Complex (in the shimmers), brown algae for smoothing and firming skin, diamond core powder for diffusing light, sea whip extract to soothe skin, a macadamia derivative for hydration, and vitamins A, B, C, E and F for antioxidant power.
Call Back is a shimmery peachy/tan.
Strut is a deep shimmery eggplant.
Scout is a light peach/gold iridescent shade.
Beauty Mark is a dark reddish/brown matte. Rather chalky and uneven application.
LBD a dark black matte. Ok pigmentation here, not great.
Day Rate is a pale pink matte.
Couture is a medium warm brown with copper micro-glitter flecks.
RTW is a medium warm orange shimmer.
10K is a medium golden tan metallic.
Pose is a deep taupe with silver micro-glitter.
Overall: This is a nice palette, especially if you like warmer shades and neutral ones. I really love it for fall, the colors speak to me this time of year. The matte shades were a little more on the patchy side than smooth. The shimmers all had nice pigmentation and texture though. One thing I found odd was that the eye shadow names weren’t inside the actual palette. I found them on the insert inside and the back of the box though.
What do you say about Catwalk, yea or nay?
