NARS has two new products out for fall to get your brows in CHECK!
NARS Brow Gel comes in three shades and clear. This gel applies easily like a mascara, and adds color (well the tinted ones do) and definition to your brows.
NARS Brow Perfector is a twist-up pencil in four shades. It’s a soft easy to use pencil that helps create a really nice shape easily.
Athens, Piraeus, Kinshasha
Athens is a warm blond.
Piraeus is a cool-toned medium taupe.
Kinshasha is a dark cool-toned brown.
Oural is the clear one.
You get a lot of pigmentation with the colored ones for sure! They don’t really work well for me by themselves because my brows are sparse and must be filled in with a powder or pencil first. But I personally like the clear one.
Caucase, Salzbourg, Kalamata, Suriname
Causace is a cool-toned brown.
Salzbourg is a light warm blond.
Kalmata is a light cool-toned brown.
Suriname is black.
The shade for me here is Causase because it’s a great cool taupe shade. Initially they felt a little hard but after a second they warm up and offer nice pigmentation. They do glide on easily after that first use and don’t look or feel too waxy. Sometimes pencil liners can make brows look “fuzzy” for lack of a better term, but these don’t do that.
I don’t love the oval shaped tip though, I find it’s harder to use than a fine point one for me.
Overall: The Brow Gel is nice for those who just need a little definition/color in their brows. I do prefer the clear for me, but if I am using a clear brow gel, I probably wouldn’t spend this much on it! The pencils are nice and work easily, although I don’t love the tip.
Availability: NARS.
Pricing: Both are $22.00.
What do you think? Do you ever use a colored brow gel or clear or none?
