The Jenna Hipp What’s Hot Now Nail Collection features 12 eco-friendly mini nail polish shades.
These polishes are labeled as eco-friendly because they are five-free, gluten-free and paraben-free. They come in a large package that includes a colorfully designed nail file.
The interesting thing about this kit is where it’s sold. Costco! Kind of odd but there you have it. Oh it’s also sold on her website as well.
The formula kind of varied depending on the shade, and all were 2-3 coats.
Look Hot Feel Cool is a bright shimmery teal green. This one started off really thin but built up nicely with two coats.
Freshmaker is a mint green creme. Some streaking issues with this even with three coats.
Room Service is a bright raspberry creme. Nice formula, a little thin even with two coats (nail tips not completely covered).
Private Getaway is a bright coral creme. Same as Room Service in terms of formula and this is also two coats.
Damage Control is a light baby pink creme. This was also streaky and I used three coats.
After Party has a clear base and features various sized and shapes of pink glitter. This is just one coat.
I Can Afford It is a bright purple with pink and blue shimmer. It starts of a bit runny but built up nicely with three coats.
Hashtag is a pale peach creme. This was also on the streaky side (are you sensing a theme with the cremes?) and two coats.
Awards Season is a shimmery gold metallic. This was very brush-stroke-y! Two coats.
Tweet Me is a pale lemon yellow creme. Yes again streaks and three thin coats.
Editor’s Pick is a blackened olive green with gold and red shimmer. And yes, this one deserved to be shown on its own! Love this shade it’s pretty, sparkly and murky. The formula was a little thin at first but three thin coats makes it perfect.
The only one not shown is Hollywood Reporter which has a clear base and milti-sized holo glitter.
Overall: Ok well here are my thoughts. The pastel cremes (and the one metallic) in this set were all streaky and not so great in terms of formula. But the rest were pretty decent. My favorites in terms of formula and color are Look Hot Feel Cool, I Can Afford It and Editor’s Pick.
Pricing: $14.99 for Costco members for 12 bottles that are 0.16 oz each. It’s $32.00 on her site, which I think is too expensive.
