The Précision Oasis collection features six subdued mellow shades, but don’t be fooled, there are some stunners in here!
It’s been quite awhile since I have reviewed any shades from Précision. Since 2009 in fact! They are a really great brand but not super easy to find. I’ve never seen them in person, but you can find them online. And the price is definitely right!
Précision has been in business for 30 years now. They have over 80 shades and are big 3-free and cruelty free.
Sandstorm is a sheer warm sand shade. It’s really quite sheer, this is three coats. As you can see it’s not totally opaque or even. This is the sheerest one here and the only one with application issues.
Been There Dune That!
Been There Dune That! is a soft taupe creme. It does start off really thin and sheer but after three thin coats it’s completely opaque and even. Reminds me of milk chocolate.
Sage is a gorgeous muted sage green with hidden shimmer. I thought this was a creme until I applied it and was pleasantly surprised. I LOVE these types of greens. The formula was fantastic, thick and creamy and just two coats.
Sahara Deserted Me
Sahara Deserted Me is a taupe/pink/nude creme. This one also starts off thin and sheer but after three coats it’s opaque.
You’re In De-Nile River
You’re In De-Nile River is a deep dark cool-toned taupe creme. This one reminds me a lot of OPI You Don’t Know Jacques but I don’t think they are dupes. I love this shade so much. It’s rich and shiny with three thin coats.
Scorpion King is a dark greyish taupe base loaded with silver and red and multi-colored shimmer. Wow this one is really amazing. I love the color because it’s rather unique and the formula was fantastic as well. Just two coats.
Overall: Précision is as good as I remember! Three of them weren’t really my kind of shades, but Sage, You’re In De-Nile and Scorpion King not only are great interesting shades, but have a really nice formula. The only one not so great was Sandstorm in terms of formula. The price you pay and amount you get is really great with this brand!
Pricing: $5.99 for .55 oz (MORE than a normal bottle!)
What do you think about these shades? Is Précision a brand you have tried before?
