MAC Art Of The Eye is a smallish new limited edition collection with the focus all on the eyes.
Inside this collection you will find two eye shadow quads, intense eye pencils, powder eye shadows, glitters, mascaras and a brow color.
There is one definite stand-out item in this collection for me that I think is an absolute MUST HAVE. Keep on reading!
Rimal Dahabia Eye Shadow x 4 ($40)
Eye Shadows in Gameela, Farasha, Banafsaji ($15)
Reflects Glitter Antique Gold, Gold ($21)
Opulash in Sama ($16)
Fluidline Brow Gelcreme Deep Dark Brunette ($15)
Chromagraphic Pencil Hi-Def Cyan, Landscape Green ($16)
Rimal Dahabia (over primer)
Shroom is a soft shimmery beige/vanilla (satin). Great highlight shade, nice pigmentation.
Soft Brown is a warm medium brown (matte). I am enamored with this shade and can’t believe I didn’t already have it individually.
Najim el Lail is a blackened brown (matte). A bit on the patchy side.
Beauty Burst is a deep red/brown (satin). Nice payoff, great color.
Gameela, Farasha, Banafsaji (over primer)
Gameela is a bright magenta pink (matte). I had to work a bit to get this payoff, but it’s nice!
Farasha is a vivid orange (matte). Amazing shade, I have no clue how I would use it!
Banafsaji is a deep blue/purple (veluxe pearl). Gorgeous shade, intense and soft.
Reflects Gold, Reflects Antique Gold
Reflects Gold is a white glitter with flashes of gold. Seems more cool-toned than gold to my eye.
Reflects Antique Gold is a gold/taupe glitter. Intense, super fall-out prone though.
Sama, Hi-Def Cyan, Landscape Green, Deep Dark Brunette
Sama Opulash is a bright navy blue. Nice shade, love using these shades over a black for intensity on my lashes.
Hi-Def Cyan Chromagraphic Pencil is a VIVID cyan blue liner. MUST HAVE. This is so creamy, intense and amazing. I almost feel the need to order a back-up.
Landscape Green Chromagraphic Pencil is an intense bright green. Another MUST HAVE in my opinion. Amazing.
Deep Dark Brunette Fluidline Brow Gelcreme is a medium brown shade. It kind of borders on warm/cool.
Overall: I liked the Rimal Dahabia quad because it’s got some really nice warm brown shades in it. The vivid eye shadows are pretty good, but especially Banafsaji! The Chromagraphic Pencils though, hands down, are the best thing here in my eyes. The colors are so bright, they are so creamy and pretty. I wish they came in a million other colors.
So what do we think about this collection? Anything here for you?
