Stila Countless Colour Pigments are brand new and come in ten tantalizing color combinations.
They are hand made using a proprietary baking and pressing process. Each one features three shades which can be used individually or they can all be swirled together to make one shade. It’s not recommended to use them wet however. They suggest using fingers or a foam-tipped applicator to apply.
They are really pretty to just look at, like little works of art! I like how each one comes in its own colored compact.
Lyric, Light Show, Center Stage, Tie Dye (over primer)
Lyric features pinks, oranges and golds.
Light Show features greens and blues.
Center Stage features blue, purples, pink and orange.
Tie Dye features pink, purple and blue.
Ok so here is the deal. Using these as individual colors would be a serious pain in the buttocks! The individual color areas are really small, and it’s not really feasible. So I just swirled my finger over all the colors to get the swatch shades you see above. I don’t mind this actually because I kind of assumed that was going to happen. I think the shades are really gorgeous actually, especially Light Show and Center Stage, and they are nicely pigmented over a primer base.
What do you think about these? Would you buy one or more knowing they are harder to work with as individual shades?
