Misa Prima Ballerina is new this spring and the small collection features three pink cremes.
Lucky for us these aren’t soft sheer pinks! These are nicely pigmented rich shades, and very appropriate for spring. They have a thick formula, but all only required two coats for complete coverage.
Tutu is a medium blue-pink. It’s bright and a nice shade. I did use two coats here but you can see some slight patchy areas. Maybe three thinner ones would work best for this one.
En Pointe is a bright coral pink. This shade is gorgeous. Perfection for spring and summer, I love it. I feel like these pinky/coral shades are going to be my most-worn color this summer because there are so many good ones lately! Great formula.
Pirouette is a dusty rose pink. This looks like a more “professional” shade to me. Understated and quiet, but still pretty. This was a nice formula and two coats also.
Overall: Well when you think of a ballet collection in general I’ll bet most of you (me too) think of sheer pinks and whites. Thankfully these were more interesting with the two brighter shades. For me, En Pointe is a must-have!
What do you think of these three shades? Are you digging all these corals this year?
