The Misa I Do Collection is new this spring and perfect for the upcoming busy wedding season!
This collection features six new shades, mostly sheer, soft, yet buildable at the same time. It might not be the most electric, exciting collection of colors on earth, but they are all really pretty nonetheless.
The formula was mostly really thick yet not hard to work with. Most were three coats.
Kiss the Bride
Kiss the Bride is a bright, opaque white creme. I was pretty impressed with the even coverage I got with this one. Usually white polishes are a streaky hot mess. This one was perfection in two coats.
I Do is a pale milky pink. I should have used three coats with this one to cover a few patchy areas but I was lazy. It’s a really soft shiny shade.
Hitched is nearly identical to I Do but it’s just a hint more whitened. It still has a milky quality to it. I used three coats here.
Together as One
Together as One is a light pink. This one has more of a pink cast to it than the previous two. Not as milky, but still sheer yet buildable and shiny. This was three coats.
Something Borrowed is a soft rose colored pink. Again, sheer at first, buildable and three coats.
Mr & Mrs
Mr & Mrs is a soft sheer taupe/nude. This one even after three thin coats was a wee bit streaky, but not bad.
Overall: What I like about these is that they are buildable and really shiny. They make my nails look really nice and clean. Groomed and professional. They would be great for the bride that doesn’t want some super obvious color, but also good for a more conservative work place. In terms of formula I love Kiss the Bride because it was so opaque and nice in two coats.
Availability: Misa (soon).
Would you (did you) wear shades like this on your wedding day?
