The Misa Fresh and Fruity collection for summer 2013 is coming soon and I’ve got them for ya!
This collection features six new bright and neon shades. They are all cremes with the exception of one, which contains a nice shimmer. The formula for most is really thick, however they are easy to work with because they are nicely self-leveling. Depending on the shade I did either two or three coats because a couple were a wee bit patchy at first.
Ripe Raspberry
Ripe Raspberry is a bright cotton candy pink creme. It’s pretty thick but just two coats.
Blueberry Blast
Blueberry Blast is a pale sky blue creme. Another thick one and just two coats.
Lime Love
Lime Love is a bright lime green with yellow hidden shimmer. This is so pretty, love it. I wish they all had shimmer! This was a little patchy at first so I used three coats.
Great Grape
Great Grape is a periwinkle (not really grape) creme. Very pretty shade and two coats.
Peach Passion
Peach Passion is a neon peachy coral shade. It’s thick but also a bit patchy at the same time. I used three coats. I like this one a lot because it’s not a straight coral or orange. It really does look like a soft peach, yet really bright also.
Lovely Lychee
Lovely Lychee is a neon pink. SUPER bright and such a happy fun shade. This was two thicker coats.
Overall: I have said this sooooo many times I can’t count, but Misa is one of the most underrated under-talked about nail polish brands out there. Their polishes are generally outstanding. The formula is so good, the shades are interesting and they are priced really decently. SO BUY SOME if you don’t have any. 😉 I have reviewed tons of their collections and they are one of my favorite brands out there.
This collection is interesting because it’s not just neons, it has some great bright yet non-neon cremes also. The most unique ones I think are Lime Love and Peach Passion. But Lovely Lychee and Great Grape are hard to resist for me also!
Availability: April on Misa’s site.
Pricing: $7.50.
What do you think about these shades? Do you own any Misa yet and if not, why not?
