Awhile back I ordered three BB creams on Amazon to review. I already wrote about my favorite of the three, which is Skin79. LOVE. Now I have another one for ya!
Holika Holika Essential Petit BB Cream SPF30 PA++ hails from Korea. I had heard good things about it from a couple blogger friends and people on Twitter so I decided this was definitely one to check out.
It’s a small little bottle (just 30ml) hence the name.
Looks promising right? Almost. Let’s start off with what I liked.
It has a nice creamy texture. It has a slightly perfumed scent which I kind of love about it. Nothing chemical or weird, but perfume-y. It applies smoothly, feels good on my skin and does a great job of blurring all those pesky pores and “flaws”.
The problem is, it’s too pale for me. It’s just a wee bit too pale, which is kind of annoying because I can ALMOST get away with wearing it, but not really. It definitely casts a white-ish hue onto my face making me look a bit ill. Drat.
Overall: If the shade had matched me better I think I probably would have loved this BB cream because all the potential was there. Those slightly more fair than I should check it out though!
Availability: Amazon, online sellers.
Pricing: $9.99 (or so).
Have you tried this one?
