Hard Candy Crystal Confetti is another new collection from the brand that is just out only at Walmart.
Crystal Confetti features nine new multi-colored, multi-shaped glitters suspended in a colored base.
Let me tell you now, contrary to how the Candy Sprinkles were, these are not at all easy to work with. They’re thick, you get huge clumps of multi-shaped glitter all at once, and just they’re basically a hot mess. These are the kind where you definitely have to place the glitter where you want it because it tends to all wipe off or wipe to the tip of your nail with each coat. Argh!
Fun n’ Festive is a deep blackened green base with large gold hex, small orange hex and round micro-green glitter. The gold hex is rather large and I feel would look better if it was smaller. This is three coats.
Jubilee is a sheer green base with large pale gold and black hex glitter, orange bar glitter and black micro-glitter. This is the one I liked the most in terms of application. But I still had to place most everything where I wanted it to go. I did have a hard time getting the bar glitter to lay flat, it wanted to poke up sometimes. This is two coats.
Hip Hip Hooray is a sheer purple base with large pink hex glitter, medium blue and pink hex glitter and round purple micro-glitter. All the glitter just wants to lay on top of the other glitter. Two coats.
Celebrate Sequins has a clear base and is jam-packed with medium hex and square silver holo glitter and silver micro-holo glitter. The square glitter is a bit odd, but it applied better than most of these. Two coats.
Masquerade is a clear base but jam-packed with micro black glitter and large pink hex glitter. Not my fav. This was two coats.
Fireworks has a sheer hot pink base and large pink hex glitter, pink bar glitter, small blue hex glitter and round pink micro-glitter. Another clumpy, hard to work with one. This is two coats.
Overall: Unless you have loads of patience, you might not love these. They are definitely not easy to work with, and tend to get clumpy and messy looking very quickly. Removal is NO picnic either! 😉
Pricing: $3.97 for 0.26 oz.
What do you think about these? Are you willing to risk the mess for one of these shades?
