Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencils in Corvina and Violet are two new shades from the brand which I recently spotted at Sephora. These were not shades I could walk by and not lust for, so I bought ’em.
In fact, I had a really hard time keeping myself to just these two items from them because they have all sorts of new shades of lip goodies!
I love these fatty pencils because they are super easy to use, twist-up, and are really creamy and pigmented. They have what they call a “modern matte” finish, which is to say they aren’t super shiny or shimmery, but not chalky and flat either. Also, in case you are interested they contain the “super antioxidant resveratrol, which fights free radicals with potent long-term antiaging benefits. Each lip pencil contains the amount of resveratrol found in five glasses of red wine.”
Corvina is a vivid coral pink shade. So intense and I love that it isn’t the typical pink, but warmer and so fun!
Violet is a medium warm violet shade. It’s actually more wearable than the tube color implies. Really pigmented and nice.
Love both shades, but Corvina is the one I think I will be wearing the most. Perfect spring and summer color!
Availability: Sephora.
Pricing: $24.00 for 0.09 oz.
Have you tried these Bite Beauty pencils yet? What do you think about these two shades?
