Anastasia Kisses On My List is a new set this holiday season featuring six new Hydrafull Glosses. But wait, there’s more!
Three of the shades are sheer glosses and the other three are new and exclusive Hypercolor glosses. What does that mean? The Hypercolor glosses react with your skin’s chemistry, so the shade becomes “custom” for your lips.
These glosses come with the silicone dual-sided paddle wand that I am so not a fan of. I don’t mind the paddle shape, but the fact that it’s plastic rather than a soft sponge really bothers me. It’s not very comfortable to apply with and it can be trickier to get the gloss even. However, there are some really nice shimmery shades in this collection.
Moi, Maggie May, Sharona, Lola, Jolene, Roxanne
Moi is a medium, sheer brownish pink shade.
Maggie May is a light, sheer pink shade. It looks pretty white/pink on my lips.
Sharona is a shimmery peach shade. Gorgeous and golden.
Lola is a light shimmery cotton candy pink. This is one of the Hypercolor shades.
Jolene is a light shimmery strawberry pink. This is one of the Hypercolor shades.
Roxanne is a medium opaque coral/peach shimmer. This is one of the Hypercolor shades.
Overall: I didn’t really like Moi and Maggie May much because they didn’t apply as evenly as I would have liked, and they settled into lip lines. I liked all the other four shades, but Lola and Jolene looked very similar. The texture of these is a little bit sticky, and very glossy. They last a good 3 hours or so before they need a touch-up. They don’t dry my lips out at all, which is nice. No discernible scent or taste.
Pricing: $30.00 (each gloss is 0.07 oz).
What do you think about these shades? Have you tried Anastasia glosses before?
Note: Anastasia is cruelty free.
