The Anastasia Want You To Want Me Eye Shadow Palette is new for holiday 2012, but it’s more than just an eye shadow palette…
It comes in a black and rose-gold velvet box that has some goodies inside. You don’t just get a removable nine-piece eye shadow palette inside (with mirror), but also it opens up to a large mirror, a mini Liquid Eye Liner in Jet, a mini Clear Brow Gel and a dual-ended brush.
Top row: Platform Wedge, Front Row Center, Ziggy
Middle row: Members Only, Power Ballad, Jellies
Bottom row: Graphic T’s, Brass In Pocket, Iron On
Platform Wedge, Front Row Center, Ziggy, Members Only, Power Ballad (over primer)
So the cool thing is this eye shadow palette is small and removable and shadows do have names. But the bad thing is the names are on the bottom of the main box, not the actual eye shadow palette itself.
Platform Wedge is a very pale nude/vanilla matte. It barely shows up on my skin.
Front Row Center is a pale glittery nude/gold.
Ziggy is a medium plum with gold glitter. Not as opaque as I would have hoped for.
Members Only is a medium tan matte.
Power Ballad is a pearly mauve/taupe.
Jellies, Graphic T’s, Brass In Pocket, Iron On, Jet Liquid Liner (over primer)
Jellies is a medium pink shimmer.
Graphic T’s is a deep shimmery chocolate brown. Nice payoff, nice shade!
Brass In Pocket is a gold/brown shimmer.
Iron On is a deep purple with glittery pieces. Nice payoff and color.
Jet is a jet black liquid liner.
Overall: So I like the concept of the eye shadow palette within the whole palette. I was a bit disappointed with the payoff with a lot of the shadows though. The first five are a little on the light side. I felt the best shadows in terms of payoff and interesting colors were Graphic T’s and Iron On. Jet is a nice deep black liner and the clear brow gel is always handy.
How are you feeling about Want You To Want Me?
