Too Faced Primed Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primers come in three different types. Did you know that? I think it’s pretty cool since most brands tend to just have one or two.
These primers come in a Bronze Tint with SPF 20, a Pure oil-free version for sensitive skin and the classic Primed Poreless version. All three of them do a great job of helping to hide your pores and smooth out skin before foundation or BB Creams. But there are subtle differences between them.
Bronze Tint, Primed Poreless, Pure
As you can see the Bronze Tint Primer has a medium golden bronze tint to it. I thought maybe it would be too dark for my fair skin but if I use just a little bit it actually works for me. It does make my skin look a little more tanned, and it’s pretty subtle under any foundation. It contains vitamins A & C, Mulberry extract and Retinol
The classic Face Primer is a nude shade in the tube but goes on invisible. It’s also a matte finish and does an excellent job blurring lines and pores. It also contains vitamins A & C, Mulberry and Retinol which helps make skin appear firmer and hydrate skin.
Pure is a clear mattifying primer and formulated specifically for oily and sensitive skin. I really like this one because while I don’t really have oily skin per-se, I do get oilier on my t-zone about mid-day and this helps keep shininess at bay.
Wearing the classic Primed Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer
The way I normally wear primers is: I first apply my SPF/Moisturizer. Then I add the primer. Finally I add either foundation or a BB Cream.
I get a really smooth look with all of these primers but I especially like the Pure and classic ones. My favorite thing about primers? They do such an incredible job of hiding pores! I seriously don’t know how we ever lived without them.
Overall: If you are looking to add a little golden glow to your skin then the Bronze Tint might be your best bet. If you have oily or sensitive skin then Pure is a great choice. If you have normal skin the classic Primed Poreless is excellent.
Pricing: $30.00 for 1 oz.
