Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Makeup is a new foundation that comes in an impressive sixteen shades.
This foundation is a little different than anything I have tried before. It’s whipped! Like mousse! It’s like a creamy mousse really. It offers really nice coverage and is build-able as well. The finish is a semi-matte one. It lasts all day long without disappearing or turning into an oily slick.
Hard to tell in the container that it’s a mousse-like texture because it looks like just creme. But when you touch it, it springs back!
I got it in the second lightest shade which is Buff. What I like about this foundation is you really only need a very small amount and it goes a long way. The first time I used it I used WAY too much and had to wipe some off!
It feels really creamy and soft on the skin. Not oily or heavy at all. This shade worked pretty much perfectly on my skin. I wore it a couple days for 10-12 hours over a moisturizer and primer and it lasted no problem. I didn’t even have to blot during the day!
Overall: Really nice foundation! There are a couple things I don’t love completely about it though. I wish it was slightly more dewy just because I tend to have drier skin in certain places and since this is more matte, it can make those areas look even drier. Also while I understand the container serves a purpose, I prefer to not have to stick my fingers into it over and over for sanitary reasons. But neither of those is enough to get me to not wear it.
Pricing: $13.99 regular (I got it for $8.39 at Rite Aid on sale) for 0.8 oz.
Have you tried this Whipped Creme Makeup yet? Tempted?
