Why hello there! Ready for another comparison post? Been awhile since I’ve done one, sorry I got off-track there for a bit!
Today I’ve got another reader suggestion comparing two similar greens. Orly Gumdrop and Ancient Jade.
Both of them are from Orly. Both are what you could call mint greens. Both have a creme finish. But are they that similar?
Gumdrop, Ancient Jade
Ancient Jade on pointer & ring, Gumdrop on middle and pinky
In the bottle these do look different though more similar than they do on the actual nail.
Ancient Jade is definitely more of a jade green creme, as the name implies. You could call it a medium mint green also.
Gumdrop is more of a blue/green. It’s lighter and is more of a pastel shade.
Both of these are two coats and cover nicely with no streaks.

Verdict: Definitely not dupes or even really that similar. One is a definite green and one is more of a green/blue.
Winner: For me I like Ancient Jade a little more, but really it depends on my mood and what I feel like wearing. I like both!
Which of these two do you prefer?
Note: Orly is cruelty free.
