Yesterday I posted my first review of the Makeup Geek Eyeshadows and went on and on about how amazing they are. Now here is part II of that rave review!
This time I am featuring the bright shades I picked up and they are no less fabulous than the natural ones.
Duchess, Dirty Martini, Poison Ivy, Poolside, Appletini, Sea Mist (clockwise)
Duchess, Dirty Martini, Poison Ivy, Sea Mist, Appletini, Poolside (over primer)
All six of these eyeshadows were nicely pigmented. A couple (matte ones) were maybe a little less pigmented than the metallic natural colored ones, but just a little.
Duchess is a cool toned matte purple. It’s deep and smoky, very nice.
Dirty Martini is a deep matte olive green. Gorgeous shade.
Poison Ivy is a medium shimmery green. Love it, very soft and nice.
Sea Mist is a shimmery blue based turquoise. So soft and pigmented. Beautiful.
Appletini is a shimmery green apple with gold flecks. Light, clean and crisp.
Poolside is a vivid aqua with gold flecks. Saturated and bright, perfect for summer.
Overall: Once again I am very pleased with these shadows. Even the couple matte ones which were just a tiny bit less smooth than the shimmer and metallics (really only Duchess was a little chalky) were so nice still. I love these blues and greens, especially in summer months!
