Happy Easter! This is a re-post while I am on vacation. Enjoy!
What’s shakin, bacon?
Today I am bringing you my top 10 favorite olive green polishes.
For those of you who have been reading my site for awhile, you know that olive green is probably my fav kind of color for polish. The weirder and more “gross” looking to the average person, the better for me!
Awhile back I did my top 5 greens post and knew I would need a separate one for olive green since I love so many of them.
All of these have been reviewed on here in the past, so these are not full reviews.
So here they are in no particular order. Oh and by the way, the photo for China Glaze Wagon Trail is actually by Lextard since I don’t have my swatched version on my site anymore and I can’t find the original pic!
She was #1 on my lemming list for well over a year whilst I tried to hunt her down. Then a lovely blogger (also Lextard) gifted her to me and I was SOOOOO pleased! I like it even more than I imagined I would.
The first of three BB’s on this list because who makes more cool greens than BB? I think no one at this point!
Another BB, Universal Joint is a newer one from the Men’s collection. It’s got a killer pink flash to it, which I love.
She’s expensive and from the Moscow collection. I don’t often buy Chanel polish, but this one was a must for olive green lovers!
China Glaze Wagon Trail (by Lextard)
This is the color that started the whole olive green obsession for me. This was one of the first true olive green colors I bought in recent memory, and I fell immediately in love. It’s almost black, but has a fabulous deep olive shimmer.
Stromboli is insane. INSANE. It’s a deep, dark, olive green with huge flecks of gold. So amazing, and totally worth the price for me.
You didn’t think I could do one of these green lists without including one of the colors I created, did you? Technically this isn’t “olive green” it’s more of an avocado green, but it’s different and unique and I had to include it. I love it. 🙂
Seriously Hip is a seriously cool olive green. Especially stunning in the sunlight.
No More War (horrible old pic here) is the first and only creme on the list! It’s an olive/army green, and I wear it all the time still.
Mash is a golden olive green and another one that I needed to own!
If I could own every single olive green color out there I would be one happy woman!
What are some of your favorite olive greens?
