New this holiday season from Laura Mercier is the limited edition Baked Eye Colour Palette.
This palette features five baked shadows plus a double-ended brush and a mirror.
The colors inside are both warm and cool and can be used dry or wet, for extra impact.
Sienna, Terracotta, Ballet Pink, Pink Petal, Lilac (dry)
Sienna, Terracota, Ballet Pink, Pink Petal, Lilac (wet)
Sienna is a deep, warm chocolate brown with just a little bit of gold shimmer in it.
Terracotta is a very shimmery vivid copper color. Stunning especially when wet.
Ballet Pink is a light champagne/pink shimmer.
Pink Petal is a light super shimmery pink. When you use this wet it’s a lot more pigmented and bright.
Lilac is a super shimmery lilac. This one also is best when used wet, so pretty and sparkly!
When used dry these do tend to have some fallout because of the sparkles and the lighter colors don’t show up as much. When wet they get much more vivid and pigmented.
They don’t feel all that soft when you touch them but not overly rough either. They don’t feel gritty when using on the lids when wet at all.
My favorite colors are Terracotta because it’s so intense and great with my blue eyes, and Lilac because it’s soft, pretty and yet still bright.
The mini brush that comes with this set is a double-ended one with a flat shaped eye color brush on one side, and a pointed synthetic creme eye detail brush on the other. The eye color side is great for applying these all over the lid and the smaller detail brush would be good for using on smaller areas of the eye like the inner corners or on your lower lash line.
