New and limited edition at Target right now is the Pixi Pretty Eye Perfection Palette.
This slim palette feature 12 eye shadow shades that range from neutral and light to dark and shimmery.
Even though the palette is very slim and made from cardboard, it doesn’t feel super flimsy. Not super sturdy either, but definitely not cheap feeling.
The shadow pans themselves are TINY I tell you! Like the width of my pinky finger basically, but they pack a great punch!
There are no eye shadow color names, which is one drawback of the palette, but not a huge issue for me.
These first four shadows blew my mind in terms of color intensity and softness. SO amazingly pigmented and really soft.
First we have a deep forest green with gold shimmer. Gorgeous.
Next is a deep aubergine with reddish shimmer. I love this color.
Third is a medium almost cornflower blue with gold shimmer. I think this one is very cool and unusual.
Finally we have a warm coppery gold shimmer.
The middle section of shadows were just as pigmented and soft as the first.
First up is a shimmery vanilla/peach color.
Then we have a deep taupe brown shimmer.
Third is a shimmery lavender.
Finally the only matte in the palette is a dark chocolate brown, very even and smooth.
The last section contains the lightest shadows, but again, all super soft with excellent pigmentation.
First is a metallic bronze.
Second is a pale pink shimmer.
Third is a pale lilac with gold shimmer. This is another unusual one I really like.
Finally we have a pale shimmery pink/mauve color.
Overall:
I am very impressed with this palette and I didn’t really expect to be. Everything was so pigmented and I really liked all the colors and the variety. The shadows are SUPER small though, so keep that in mind.
Availability: Target and Pixi’s website.
Pricing: $12.00.

I bought a Pixi palette last Christmas, and love it! Yes, the pans are small, but it doesn’t take much shadow to give me the coverage I want. The colors are beautiful, and the shadow is so soft – almost creamy! I’ll have to go pick this one up…
I’m quite surprised as well! I don’t think I’ll be purchasing this (I have enough eyeshadows, sheesh!), but this would make a great gift for the holidays.
Pretty…I think the small trays would be good because you could use it up faster before it gets old or before you move on to the next new palette.

I’m glad to see pixi make good eyeshadows. I was never impressed with their quality and swatches before. This palette looks promising tho!

I think this palette would be good for those who just want to try out a bunch of colours since you only get a small amount of each colour. Good price, though. (The shimmery shades stand out for me.)

LOVE. Totally stopping at Target tonight if I have the energy after work!
How tiny is tiny? Would you say its about the same size as the shadows in the Naked palette? Because they look to be the same (but I know pictures can be tricky).
Hi Lissi,
No about half that size. The pan is about the width of my pinky finger.
