This time of year my skin gets as dry as an old refrigerated turkey leg. Nice imagery, no?
It’s not really all of my skin though, it’s mainly my calves. I think it’s mostly because I have a space heater radiating hot air onto said calves all winter long, and I wear a lot of tights and boots. Speaking of boots…
Boots Extracts has some amazing Body Butters that are thick, creamy and smell almost good enough to eat at Target right now! The scents include:
- Shea Butter
- Rosehip
- Brazil Nut
- Avocado
- Vanilla
- Almond
- Coconut
- Olive
- Honey
- Bergamot
- Mango
- Cranberry
- Nectarine
- Cocoa Butter
Shea Butter, Rosehip
These body butters are in a word, amazing.
First off they smell incredible. No yucky fake scent, nothing chemical-ish or overpowering. Just nice and natural. Even the Rosehip was not too much as some rose scents can be.
In terms of moisture they are off the hook! VERY moisturizing and silky. They rub in easily and after a minute or two there isn’t any greasy film left on your skin.
I have been addicted especially to the Shea Butter one because that scent is everything. Sigh.
Availability: Target.
Pricing: $9.99 for 6.7 oz.
What is your favorite body butter?

I just saw these on my last trip to Target, they even had these in sets of 3 different ones I think? I can’t say that I’m really ever drawn to body butter, but I’m kind of interested in the Rosehip. Also thinking about picking up some of the scrubs, I just love the packaging in this line!

I always forget that Boots is sold in Target. I’d love to try these. I love body butters. They just work better for me.
Ahahahaha! Oh, Kelly – your first sentence made me laugh out loud! I needed that. Thanks!

I didn’t know Boots stuff is sold in the US. Nice! Kinda strange to see UK brands on your blog – I had to double check I was in the right place – but a VERY good kinda strange! x
I have been addicted to the Boots Line of Brazil Nut and Vanilla products. They have now separated these scents into two separates. I went online and bought all of the combo’s that I could find.
If you take the body wash and put it in the tub of warm water with you when you use it it is like Heaven on Earth. No spa can match it. The feeling of it on your body is beyond expression. I love the Bath Lotion also.
Cannot beat the Body Butter either. I use it every night before I go to bed.
These products are awesome.
In fact I think I will go use them now…
Honey =]
I’ve been a big fan of Boots for a while now but have never tried their body butters. My skin gets super dry too this time of year. I’ll have to try one next time I swing by Target.
I thought Boots tested on animals?
Hi Liz,
This is what their site says:
Frequently asked questions

Do these have mineral oil and petroleum in them?
I recently picked up the Brazil Nut, and love it! I totally want to get more, because I am addicted to body butter.

One of the make up girls at Target lured me into trying this brand. I bought some nice face powder and now with this review I mayb just try some more of their stuff. Thanks!

Brazil Nut is my favorite. I love it too much to even try any of their other scents!
These sound very, very similar (in fact almost identical) to the Body Shop line of body butters. Even the names of some of them are exactly the same as the Body Shop. How do they compare?
Hi Gwen,
I don’t use The Body Shop items, sorry!
I have never seen them but I love body butters in general 😉
