Happy Monday morning/afternoon/evening!
Hopefully you have today off, if you live in the US, for Columbus Day. Actually, I don’t know many people who do get today off (including myself-but I’m still on sabbatical) except kids in school and government employees. Either way, maybe this will brighten your day. 😉
Normally I don’t do haul pics, but this weekend was kind of epic for me. I went to four places and at each place I found some really great things that were new and I hadn’t seen before and I thought it would be fun to share with you. And yeah, I spent too much but did get some great deals also!
First up we have my Rite Aid and CVS hauls. I put them in one place because I only got one makeup item at CVS.
Note how much Jesse’s Girl stuff there is? Well I have to say I almost SCREAMED with excitement when I saw it because no store near me ever had much of their stuff until this. The closest store I ever found that carried a lot of their stuff was a good 45 minutes across a bridge from me. So I did some serious hauling getting seven of their Eye Dusts, six of the crazy colored lipsticks, two cream shadows, and four nail polishes. I got the only two colors from the Julie G collection that appealed to me (shimmery ones) who I never heard of until this collection was released. Am I living under a rock or am I not the only one who hadn’t heard of her? I have to comment that it’s super cool that they worked with a YouTube “guru” (I hate that term) on creating a collection. And on the display there were these tear-off sheets with her photo and YouTube link on them. Um damn, I need that kind of marketing behind my site, haha! HINT HINT.
I also got some cool new Revlon nail colors there and a few Wet n Wild single shadows I had been wanting for awhile, as well as the Greed palette.
Here are some more photos.
Ok up next was Walgreens. There I found even more Revlon nail polish and a cool new purple liquid lipstick. And they have these new Diamond Lust eye shadows that looked amazing so I snatched up two of them.
I also grabbed a few more of the Wet n Wild Fantasy Makers polishes, a couple more single eyeshadows, a blush and a lipstick. Also I found some nifty Walgreens brand nail polish in the Halloween section.
Finally at Target I saw a display for the holidays from elf. Yes the holidays already!
There was SO MUCH stuff from them I was there for what seemed like forever trying to pick and choose. It’s all so inexpensive I swear I almost bought every single thing including these HUGE 80 or 100 color palettes. Then I thought, “hold on a sec then you have to swatch them all”, so I stopped myself. 😉
I did get the nail polish set, lip gloss set of 5, and 4 shadow palettes in natural, glitter, every day and smoky.
Oh god. Now I have to photograph and swatch all of this stuff…
Stay tuned in upcoming weeks for the reviews!
