I’ve had some kind of jewelry box sitting on my dresser for pretty much the last 20 years or so. I have a lot of jewelry (99% cheap stuff) and it needs a place to rest at night without the kitties batting it all over the house. But never have I seen a jewelry box quite like this…
LORAC Bejeweled Day & Night Jewelry Box is a limited edition set at Sephora right now. This baby is filled with all things pretty, including a day palette with 16 eyeshadows and a blush, a night palette with 16 eyeshadows and a blush, a bronzer, two lip glosses and two eyeliners!
Everything inside is easily removable and in it’s own case so you can take it with ya!
Isn’t she pretty? The box is covered with white & silver lacy fabric and covered with glitter. I’m not going to lie, the glitter kind of gets ALL OVER the place, but it’s still fun!
The top part of the box opens to reveal a large mirror, the bronzer and two lip glosses. Then there are two drawers under the lid each containing an eyeshadow palette and eyeliner.
The goodies inside!
While the individual eyeshadow palettes are also covered in silver glitter, I am happy to report that this glitter doesn’t come off at all.
Day Palette
Day Palette
Day Palette, top row
The first color is a pale shimmery white/pink color
The second is a shimmery warm gold
The third is a medium matte brown
The fourth is a deeper chocolate colored matte brown
While all the colors felt soft to the touch, the mattes came out a little patchy on my hand (without primer that is).
Day Palette, second row
First up is a white matte color
Second is a metallic peach color
Third is a deep shimmery metallic bronze
Fourth is a dark shimmery teal blue
All of these colors worked pretty well for me. Loving the two in the middle!
Day Palette, third row
The first color is a shimmery pale cool gold
The second is a medium metallic copper
Third is a light shimmery gold/taupe
Finally we have a dark olive green with gold shimmer
I really liked all of these colors as well. The dark green was surprisingly pigmented and even.
Day Palette, fourth row and blush
The first color is a light shimmery pink
Next is a metallic taupe color
Third is a metallic mauve
Fourth is a deep shimmery eggplant purple
Finally there is the blush, which is a shimmery medium peachy pink
I loved all of these shadow colors, but especially that eggplant! So gorgeous and opaque. The blush is a really pretty color also and very soft & pigmented.
Night Palette
Night Palette
Night Palette, top row
First up is a shimmery champagne
Second is a medium metallic antique gold
Third is a dark forest green with lighter green shimmer
Finally we have a medium shimmery purple with slight blue duochrome
These are all totally pigmented and gorgeous in my eyes. I love that dark green one and the antique gold especially.
Night Palette, second row
Here we have a light shimmery yellow/white
Second is a medium shimmery cool taupe
Next is a dark brown with multi-colored tiny glitter
Last we have a deep dark blue with light blue shimmer
No problems with pigmentation here either. Very nice colors.
Night Palette, third row
First up is a pale silvery white.
Then there is a dark, smoky grey shimmer
Third is a medium grey matte
Fourth is a dark brown matte
As you can see the matte shadows didn’t come out too great. Patchy, though they felt soft. A primer may solve this issue though.
Night Palette, fourth row and blush
First is a pale shimmery pink
Second is a pale shimmery pink/muave
Third is a medium shimmery cranberry
Fourth is a deep black with multi-colored tiny glitter
Finally is the blush, which is a bright shimmery pink
All the shadows in this row were great. I love that cranberry shade and the black was very dark. The blush is a gorgeous pink shade. Love it.
Bronzer
Bronzer
Lip Gloss
Eyeliner
Brown liner, Black liner, Peach Lip Gloss, Rose Lip Gloss, Bronzer
The brown eyeliner is a very dark chocolate brown and felt really soft and easy to glide on. The black one however felt harder and wasn’t as creamy.
The Peach gloss is a very flattering, yet frosty, shade of peach. The Rose colored gloss I felt was nicer because it has no frost, and it’s very shimmery.
The bronzer is actually a really nice somewhat pale shade. I think I might be able to wear this one since it’s not dark!

Overall:
Do I feel this was a good value? Yes! I really like the way this set came packaged in the pretty jewelry box (although where am I going to put it?) and you get a lot of products inside. The eyeshadows are small, but you get a lot of color options. The lip glosses and bronzer are full sized and the liners are small. I think most of the eyeshadow shades were really nice. The only ones that were sketchy were the mattes, and there weren’t very many of them. I have to say I really LOVE the blushes that came with these palettes. They are really pretty colors and I’ll definitely be using them a lot.

I love the teal blue shade 🙂
The little jewelry box is such a sweet touch. I like how the palettes can be stored inside and then pulled out to use. Very pretty.

It’s so cool that the eyeshadows come in removeable palettes- very smart touch! I bought the Tarte jewelry box, and the thing with that is you can remove the eyeshadows, blush, etc., but you have to find a place to put them in order to actually use the jewelry box…
I love how everything is removable. I’m sort on storage space so I would probably end up ditching the big box, even though it is rather pretty. Thank you for the swatches! This means something else to add to my huge wishlist, haha!
The lip glosses are pretty
Amazing value for sure! I love the packaging even if it sheds glitter. The fact that they did different palettes for day and night makes it soooo easy to choose colors!

That is a great value! Its hard to find a cute/affordable jewelry box and with this one you get some great makeup with it! I know the makeup is good but is the jewelry box sturdy?

Hi Micki,
Oh yes it feels very sturdy!
I really like both palettes! And it looks so cute 🙂
I bought this also! I didn’t realize how big this would be. I love that the palettes come out. It’s a nice jewelry box also. Very cute. I haven’t used any of the products yet. Lorac has some really nice cosmetics.
I really wanted this palette but was disappointed in the matte shadow swatches. I’ve been on a matte shadow hunt lately and haven’t found any good ones. I think I got dupes for the other colors in this palette :/.

I don’t particularly like the look of the packaging, and only a few shades appeal to me.
