Sometimes, just sometimes I see some cool stuff from the Sephora brand that catches my eye. Awhile ago I saw their Jumbo 12 Hour Wear Waterproof Crayon Liners and some of the colors really spoke to me.
These stubby pencils come in 14 colors and can be used as liners or smudged out as eyeshadows.
They claim that they are resistant to water, heat and humidity and last 12 hours.
Violet, Purple, Kaki
Kaki, Purple, Violet
Violet, Kaki, Purple
First thing to note is that the colors are pretty amazing and saturated. Violet is a very vivid blue/violet. Stunning, but perhaps not as even when it applies as I would have liked. Kaki is a beautiful olive green/khaki color and Purple is a deep velvety looking reddish purple.
These apply really smoothly and easily, you don’t have to rub hard to get good color payoff. They smudge out really nicely also, but try to work quickly because they tend to dry a little fast.
As far as wear time on the eye, over a primer like Too Faced Shadow Insurance they last all day on me with no creasing. I haven’t worn them alone, but can’t imagine they wouldn’t crease on me since everything does with no primer.
Overall:
Really nice! I like using crayons as liner/shadow because it’s fun and easy. They only negative about these is they are on the short side and I think they should be a little less expensive like maybe $8.00.
Availability: Sephora
Pricing: $10.00
Have you tried these? Do you like using crayon-style pencils?

Very pretty. I have used their waterproof eyeliner and it works great. Good to know, maybe next time I am there I will pick some up.

Those look gorgeous! I always overlook Sephora’s house brand, but I need to pay closer attention.
I bought the khaki one when I was on holiday, no Sephora in the UK so finding one in Barcelona was a treat. Anyhoo, I love this pencil, such a rich green and a lovely sof texture. Am so miffed I didn’t get more colours …… a trip back to Spain for more is tad excessive though!
Sephora brand is really stepping it up with their products. I love these chubby liners, and the retractable ones are pretty awesome too. The eyeshadows are better, the creme liner is nice. The new blushes are fantastic, and I do love the pressed mineral powder.
wish they were a little cheaper as well, but Violet looks lovely!
Violet looks sooo pretty!

Well, maybe it’s time to give the Sephora brand products a try…I like the khaki pencil !
These look pretty! Too bad that if they sell them in my country they would probably be way more expensive 🙁
About a month ago, I bought Kaki on a whim and ended up loving it. I just bought the Gold shade, but I’ll be returning it. It didn’t apply as smoothly as Kaki, and I wasn’t crazy about the color on my lids. I wouldn’t hesitate to try out other the shades, though; the green one looks pretty awesome.
Really like these colors but I better don’t fall in love with them since Sephora’s website doesn’t ship internationally. (shame)
Oooh! I want one!
These look so pretty! I’ll have to check them out the next time I’m at Sephora.

To be honest, I can’t wait to try these. Most days I am in a rush so use jumbo eye pencils in bright colors to line my eyes, top and bottom. Then I just top it off with some black on my waterline and some black mascara. I have been complimented several times on this look so its actually my fave one. 😀

I never really looked at the Sephora brand before. Seems like they are really improving their products and introducing new ones. I’ll have to take a look the next time I duck in.

These are way under-rated (and by “under-rated” I mean I haven’t seen them take off in the blog-o-sphere)! They’re *awesome*! I only have two, Khaki and Taupe, but definitely need more. They’re so smooth, pigmented, and stay put. So perfect and easy for a quick slap of color on the eyes in the morning. Thanks for the swatches, now I need Violet too!
Oh that purple! I need that!
I like eye pencils because of the convenience. I’m going to check these out!
Gah…the latent three-decade old New Waver in me wants Violet!!! But where could I possibly wear it? :o(
Wow, those are pretty- maybe it’s time for me to try the Sephora brand again. I got a mini liner from them a couple of years ago and it had NO staying power at all. Blech. But the color is so beautiful on these, and I totally trust your opinions, so I’m swayed to toss a few in the cart next time I’m shopping! Thank you, as always, for your reviews, Kelly! They really help a lot.
These are gorgeous! Definitely colors I would choose for myself. $10.00 does seem a tad steep but I may just have to try the Kaki one; so pretty!
Wow I love that violet/purply blue shade. I will have to try it out the next time I’m at Sephora – I hope it’s not too fat to work as eyeliner.

Very pretty! Will have to buy 1 or 2 or all of them now. 🙂
Holy crap! That’s awesome .. happy 3rd blog birthday! Congrats! This is an awesome giveaway. So very generous. 🙂 I think my favorite ChG is definitely For Audrey. It was the polish that started my addiction. 🙂
I don’t know why my comment posted on this post because, I didn’t even have my browser open to this post. That’s weird. I read the rules for Day 1, scrolled down and typed my entry. *scratches head* snyway .. ignore it. I’ll post it again where it belongs. lol
