Ready to get your glitter on? If yes then Too Faced Glamour Dust Glitter Pigment “might be your bag baby” (read as Austin Powers) 🙂
The thing about Too Faced is man they do the packaging right, don’t they? I mean this is how right they do it. I don’t even USE glitter pigment or glitter anything much, but I still bought this because I couldn’t get over the packaging and the way it sparkled in the container. So yeah, I’m a sucker.
Glamour Dust is a loose glittery pigment, which contains various sizes and colors of tiny glitter flecks, which help create one kind of “overall” color. The one I got is called Blue Angel and it’s a silvery blue shade. It currently comes in four shades.

I like the shaker style opening because not too much of the product comes out at once and it’s much easier to manage messiness (unlike MAC’s wide open pigment containers).

Blue Angel is mostly very fine silver micro-glitter with slightly larger green, blue, gold opalescent glitter flecks in it.
It doesn’t really give off a blue color to me overall, it’s definitely more silver, which was a little disappointing. I wanted a pale blue like the name implies.
Because it’s loose glitter it does feel a bit gritty and obviously there is a lot of fallout. You can use their Glitter Glue (or any other brand’s) as a base to help it stick to the skin though, which definitely helps with fallout.
Overall:
Well the packaging sucked me in, but was it worth it? Yes and no. I do like it and can see myself using it over a cool eyeshadow shade to add some extra oomph to a look. But I was a little disappointed it wasn’t really blue looking.
Availability: Too Faced website and Sephora
Pricing: $17.00 for 0.1 oz (will probably last a very long time)
What do we think about Glamour Dust? Too glittery for you or not enough?

I think TF almost always has adorable packaging. It’s disappointing that it’s not more blue, but still looks pretty.

The first thing i thought of when I saw the swatch is that I want to dump it in nail polish. It would make a pretty a franken!
Oooh! I’m curious to see how that would turn out!
That was my thought too!

It looks like a twinkling snowflake in the packaging! So pretty!
I actually really like that! You could always put it on top of a blue base to get more blue.

I love Too Faced no matter what so I’m kind biased on this one VV 😀

I purchased all 3 except the blue angel because they are stunning in the container and on my hand. First try was a fail, it didn’t really show up on me at all. So as suggested I bought the Glitter Glue but still no luck. The glitter stayed in place but you still couldn’t really see it. I wanted to love these so bad but they all got returned.
If this was made into a nail polish, it would be sooo pretty!
Ok, I know it isn’t really blue as the name implies but wow, I want it. And the pink one. So so pretty!
ehh not worth the price.
This is quite pretty (although I agree, I don’t really see any blue here), but I already have more glitter than a gal my age probably ‘should’ (oh should, shmoud, I like some sparkle!), so these are probably a pass for me.
Wish I could wear glittery products because some are really outstanding and this is no exception! But the irritation isn’t worth it.
I feel your pain, Jenn. Literally. Anything larger than, say, a largeish flakey particle drives me bonkers. I have this gorgeous Quo purple creme eyeliner that is absolutely ruined by silver glitter, I put it on for more than ten minutes and my eyes get all red and watery.
I could get away with wearing a larger glitter like this on my collarbones or something, but I think this is just *too* sparkly for that. I’m not a twelve year old going to her first school dance.
I ALWAYS get sucked in by Too Faced’s packaging….always! I am never head-over-heels in love with their stuff, but they get points for being cute 😉

Like the packaging. I’m always afraid of knocking over my mineral makeup. I wouldn’t buy this since I don’t need that glitter anywhere. It’s still pretty.
I just blogged about this one yesterday.. after I saw your post I was all excited and went to Sephora to add the brown one, Glampire, to my cart.
Then I decided I’d go to the new Ulta by me and see it while I got my other stuff I had on my list to look for.
It was TOO glittery for me! I opened the lid of the tester and the powder/glitter was so light and blew all over me. There’s no pigment or anything to really hold it so it really likes to go everywhere like it has a mind of its own.
I had to decide to pass, but I went to dinner afterward with it all over my hands and my clothes. haha!
