MAC Cremeblend Blush might be the perfect blush for spring!
These creamy, colorful, smooth blushes come in six shades and are $19.50.
- So Sweet, So Easy – Bright yellow pink
- Something Special – Light coral
- Posey– Warm peach
- Ladyblush– Warm neutral coral
- Brit Wit– Dusty rosey mauve
- Tea Petal– Mid-tone reddish brown
I’m a big, big fan of creme blushes right now for a few reasons. They feel so nice, apply really easily and have a way of making you look internally glowy that a lot of powder blushes just can’t do.
These are very non-sticky and don’t feel gross on your face, you don’t even notice they are there.
As far as how long they last I am still testing, but have been wearing Ladyblush for 5 1/2 hours and it’s still going strong!

Something Special is just a super pretty and flattering pink for fair skin and probably a wide variety of other skin tones as well. I love it, it’s my favorite.
Ladyblush is also really nice. It’s a dustier pink/coral color.
Tea Petal is the darkest one and more of a red/brown. I’m not sure I can pull this one off, it might be too dark on my face.
Overall:
I really like these because they are super easy to apply, feel good, last a long time and have good opacity. You can build them up also, which is nice.
Availability: MAC online and in stores now
Pricing: $19.50
What do we think about these creme blushes?

I’m not a fan of them, but I think that’s because I find powder blushes a lot easier to wear.

Hi Phyrra,
I hear ya!
Whoa – Tea Petal is really dark and intimidating! I prefer more natural and pink blushes. Something Special and Ladyblush are cute.
Hi Mary,
Yeah I felt the same way. I am used to light pink/peach blushes not sure that one would work on me!
What kind of application do you have to use when you Are applicating creme blushes?
Hi Ida,
I use my fingers actually, I think it’s easier than a brush and blends in easily with the warmth from my hand.
Tea Petal looks scary but also kinda interests me at the same time!

Mmmm… I think I’m going to stick to my powder blushes for now. None of these colors excite me much, although Something Special does seem to be a nice shade and fairly wearable.
I’d love to hear how you do with Tea Petal, they say if you take bright or dark colors and reeeeeeally blend them, you can get a nice, natural look. I’ve often doubted this advice. 😉
I have a handful of MAC creme blushes in their original formulas (this Cremeblend is a reformulation). I truly love the originals I have, and find them more natural looking as compared to powdered blushes.
I love cream blushes so I’ll definitely take a look at Something Special. From your pictures it doesn’t look like what I already own which is quite a shock.
I want to love a cream blush, but the ones I’ve tried just slide right off my face- ACK.
I guess there’s a reason I’m a die hard powder blush gal…
Ladyblush surprised me by being my favorite of your swatches- now if they’d only do a powder version!
Ladyblush looks so pretty! I’ve never tried creme blushes before, but I really want to 🙂

I never liked creme blushes since it sank into my pores. Now with face primers that doesn’t happen. Still makes me nervous! I have lots of powder blushes.
